After receiving an email from Dr.Dragga, our class was informed that a new policy procedure was created for online testing. I was asked my opinion on the new situation. Then I acted as author, and wrote a brief explanation on the importance of including the new information in the IRB website when changes are being made. Then I edited my work and placed it into the report.
My job as editor was to take the purpose statement that was written for the report and edit it. Since this assignment was never completed I could not edit it. Instead I acted as an author and wrote it myself, then edited it.

Stephen, Matt and I went through the entire IRB website link by link to identify common elements that the links share. Together we decided that the these elements were :
- tester
- testee
- eraider password
- administration
- external links
Then it was my job to take all of the data and put into a chart. Next, I wrote a formal explanation about the chart. This is the rough information.

New Site Map Chart
This chart was created to help identify the user for each link found in the IRB website. By making the identifications more recognizable, the user will know where they fit into the IRB process. As a result, the website will be easier to navigate through and more helpful to its audience.
In this project I acted as writer, organizer and editor.

ORS vs IRB Table

This table was created to make it clear which link served a purpose for ORS or IRB or both. After taking a portion of the website’s links and breaking them down, it was my job to take other’s portions and put them into one condensed table. Then, along with two other group members, we stated the purpose of the table and made edits so that it could be placed into the Test Plan.

IRB Meeting Notes
class notes-IRB meetingGroup leaders sat in on an IRB meeting to gain a better understanding of their function and the matters that are discussedin these meeting.
For this task I acted as secretary and took notes in class on 9/27/07 while the group leaders presented their information.

Questions for D. Peters
Questions and anwers-Donna PetersThe questions prepared were for the first meeting with Donna Peters. Although not all of the questions could be answered, the ones that were were very helpful.
Before she came to visit our class, we were asked to create questions to ask her in class. I wrote questions that I thought others would forget to ask, so that our class could be sure that they covered all of the bases.
